Summary
The Assistant Patient Care Manager is responsible for the day-to-day supervision of nursing operations, ensuring quality care for patients and their families. Mentors, serves as a resource, and provides support for staff and faculty on clinical nursing issues while meeting the department, nursing, and organization goals. Oversees clinical care performed by assigned nursing staff.

Minimum Field of Study: Nursing or other related field of study
Minimum Education Notes: Associate's degree with BSN in process, to be completed within University program guidelines, not to exceed four (4) years from date of hire.
Preferred Education Level: Master's Degree
Preferred Field of Study: Nursing
Licensure Certification Needed: Yes
Minimum Licensure: Registered Nurse (RN)
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Minimum Experience: Minimum three (3) years nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting
Training Required: Strong computer skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Advanced nursing skills; IV therapy, intervention with emergencies, teaching skills. Demonstrated competency in in-patient and out-patient best practices including patient care, technology, and processes.
Salary Range
