INTRODUCTION
Since 1984, Galaxy Integrated Technologies has been designing and installing state-of-the-art security systems for a variety of commercial, government, education and health care properties across New England, New York, and New Jersey.
We are seeking an experienced Security Installation Technician that possesses hands-on experience installing and programming access control and CCTV systems, is comfortable working in the field, and knows how to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role you will...
- Install, program, and service access control and CCTV systems
- Work with platforms including Lenel, S2, Axis, Motorola, Avigilon, and DMP
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues onsite
- Perform alarm monitoring setup and integration
- Maintain clean, professional work and strong customer communication
- Collaborate with project managers and field teams to complete projects on time and on budget
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
You've got what it takes if you have...
- 2+ years of field experience with access control and CCTV installation
- Proficiency with Lenel, S2, Axis, Motorola, Avigilon, and DMP systems are required; certifications are preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Clean driving record and ability to pass background check
- Customer first mindset and professional demeanor
