At Horizon Blue ABA, we look for people who aren't afraid of those moments. Who can sit with a child in a hard place, stay regulated themselves, and keep communicating even when communication feels impossible. That willingness to wade through the difficult parts, without pulling back, without giving up, is what builds the kind of trust that actually moves the needle for kids.
Our remote BCBAs are there with you. Not just in the good sessions but in the hard ones too, helping you understand what a behavior is communicating and what to do with that information. We talk through what happened, what it meant, and how to show up better next time. That's not just supervision. That's how great BTs and RBTs are made.
If you're someone who leans in when things get hard and believes that every behavior is a child trying to tell you something, we want you on this team. And we will help you build your career.

New York City dominates by volume given its density of major hospital systems and trauma centers, while Buffalo and Rochester anchor significant hiring in western New York through large regional health systems like Kaleida Health and University of Rochester Medical Center that run high-volume surgical programs.
Are there remote or tech jobs in New York?
Yes, but they're rare. OR tech work is hands-on and intraoperative by nature, so the vast majority of roles require full on-site presence in a sterile surgical environment. About 0% of or tech openings tied to New York are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, and those are almost exclusively in adjacent roles like surgical technology education, OR scheduling coordination, or sterile processing management.
How can I get hired as a or tech in New York with little or no experience?
