The Lingual Tree, Inc. is seeking a qualified and dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide school-based services for the 2026–2027 school year. We are currently hiring for an on-site part-time/per-diem opportunity in South Los Angeles, as well as a separate remote/virtual OT opportunity.

About The Lingual Tree
The Lingual Tree, Inc. is a Los Angeles-based Certified Nonpublic Agency (NPA) providing special education staffing and related services to charter schools and educational organizations throughout the Los Angeles area.
Founded and managed by a Speech-Language Pathologist, our team is committed to providing high-quality services while supporting our clinicians with manageable caseloads and a collaborative work environment.
Responsibilities
- Assessments: Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments to evaluate students' functional and educational needs.
- IEP Development: Collaborate with educational teams and families to develop appropriate OT goals, accommodations, and interventions.
- Direct Therapy: Provide individual and/or group occupational therapy services based on students' IEPs.
- Consultation: Recommend strategies, environmental modifications, and adaptive materials to support student participation and success.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate service records, progress reports, assessment reports, and other required documentation.
- IEP Meetings: Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and other service providers.

Requirements
- Valid California Occupational Therapist license (CBOT)
- NBCOT certification
- Minimum of one year of Occupational Therapy experience; school-based experience preferred
- Experience with assessments, IEPs, and school-based documentation preferred
- Ability to successfully complete required background clearance and TB requirements
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
