Partner Relationship Manager Jobs in New York: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a partner relationship manager in New York?
Most partner relationship manager roles in New York require a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a technology-related field, followed by experience in sales, account management, or channel operations. There is no state-issued license for this role in New York. Employers in New York's financial services and enterprise tech sectors typically look for candidates who have managed partner programs end-to-end, so building a portfolio of measurable partner outcomes and pursuing vendor certifications from major platforms strengthens your candidacy significantly.
Which companies hire partner relationship managers in New York?
Employers hiring partner relationship managers in New York right now include JPMorganChase, Citi, and M&T Bank, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. New York's concentration of financial technology firms, global media companies, and enterprise software offices means hiring for this role is spread across both large headquarters and regional alliance teams.
Which New York cities have the most partner relationship manager jobs?
New York, Brooklyn, and Rochester have the most partner relationship manager openings in New York. New York City dominates because it serves as the headquarters or major regional hub for the financial services, media, and enterprise technology firms that run the largest partner and alliances programs, while White Plains and other Westchester locations reflect the corporate campuses of telecommunications and consulting firms that also maintain active channel teams.
Are there remote partner relationship manager jobs in New York?
Yes, and more than most fields. About 35% of partner relationship manager openings tied to New York are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting how much of the role involves virtual calls, digital co-marketing, and CRM-based pipeline management. The portions most commonly done remotely are partner onboarding, enablement training, and joint business planning, while executive relationship meetings and partner summits typically remain in person.
How can I get hired as a partner relationship manager in New York with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is moving from inside sales, account coordination, or business development into a junior partner operations or channel coordinator role. Large New York employers in financial technology and enterprise software, including firms headquartered in the Midtown and Hudson Yards corridors, regularly hire for associate-level alliance or partner enablement positions that do not require prior partner management experience. Completing a vendor certification from a major platform partner program and demonstrating familiarity with CRM tools gives candidates with limited experience a concrete edge in New York's competitive market.
Where can I find and apply to partner relationship manager jobs in New York?
