Position Summary
The Account Executive supports our wholesale brokerage team helping place and manage complex Property & Casualty risks with a focus within the habitational business verticals (non‑construction). The role assists with new business and renewal submissions, trade execution, and the review of policies and invoices, while ensuring regulatory compliance. Working closely with internal teams, the Account Executive stays informed on market trends and provides insights that support effective placements and strong broker and agent relationships.Location: The ideal candidate would work a hybrid schedule out of either our Jericho or NYC office but remote opportunities are available for the right candidate.
What will your job entail?
As an Account Executive, you’ll support the broker team across the full account lifecycle, including renewals, new business, and day-to-day client service:
Prepare accounts for new business and renewal processes, initiating renewal reviews to help deliver optimal coverage and support client retention
Assist brokers with market submissions, quote cover letters, proposals, and presentations
Review policies, endorsements, invoices, and carrier documents to ensure accuracy and compliance
Support renewals and help generate new business through referrals
Evaluate and help mitigate risk exposures while ensuring adherence to regulatory and internal guidelines
Maintain accurate data and documentation within internal systems
Generate reports and insights on account performance and portfolio trends
Partner with internal teams (including Premium Accounting) to resolve invoicing issues and manage notices of cancellation
Build strong relationships internally and externally, contributing to a team-oriented, high-work-ethic culture
Required Qualifications:
Experience supporting brokers or account managers in a retail or wholesale brokerage environment
Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
Comfortable working on multiple accounts and deadlines simultaneously
Collaborative mindset with a willingness to roll up your sleeves
Preferred Qualifications:
Active Property & Casualty license or willingness to obtain their license
1+ year of experience in the insurance industry (P&C strongly preferred)
Experience within the habitational vertical
Bachelor’s degree (Risk Management, Business, Sales, etc.)
Experience with AIM, ImageRight, Microsoft Office/Outlook/Teams

The target salary range for this position is $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 annually.The wage range for this role considers many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, licensure and certification, business needs, and market demands. The pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Full-time roles are eligible for bonuses and benefits.
