Partnerships Associate Jobs in New York: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a partnerships associate in New York?
Most partnerships associate roles in New York require a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field, and no state-issued license is required for this position. New York employers typically look for candidates who have completed internships or entry-level roles in sales, account management, or business development. Building familiarity with New York's dominant industries, particularly tech, media, and financial services, gives candidates a concrete competitive advantage in the local market.
Which companies hire partnerships associates in New York?
Companies currently hiring partnerships associates in New York include Meta, DraftKings, and New York University, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. New York's density of technology firms, media companies, and large financial institutions means demand for partnerships associates is distributed across a wide range of employer types throughout the state.
Which New York cities have the most partnerships associate jobs?
The New York City metro, including Brooklyn and Queens, accounts for the largest concentration of partnerships associate openings in New York, followed by New York. New York City's role as a global hub for technology, finance, and media drives the bulk of demand, while secondary markets reflect the presence of regional corporate offices, universities, and growing startup ecosystems outside the five boroughs.
Are there remote partnerships associate jobs in New York?
Yes, and more than most fields. About 100% of partnerships associate openings tied to New York are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, reflecting the desk-based, relationship-management nature of the work. Responsibilities involving partner outreach, pipeline management, and CRM updates translate well to remote environments, while in-person expectations are more common for roles that involve frequent client entertainment or executive-level relationship building.
How can I get hired as a partnerships associate in New York with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is through a business development representative or account coordinator role at a New York-based technology or media company, then moving laterally into a partnerships function. Large New York employers like Verizon and various NYC-headquartered SaaS firms regularly hire from adjacent roles in sales operations or marketing. A portfolio of outreach campaigns, a record of managing external vendor relationships, or a completed business internship at a New York organization all strengthen applications for candidates without direct partnerships experience.
Where can I find and apply to partnerships associate jobs in New York?
You can find and apply to partnerships associate jobs in New York on Migrate Mate, which lists current openings from employers across the state. Search the listings to find roles that fit your experience level and location preference, then apply directly to the ones that match.
