Job Requisition: Source-to-Pay Application Analyst
Position Summary
The Application Analyst will serve as a functional–technical expert for the organization’s Ivalua Source to Pay platform, including integrations to ERP systems such as SAP (ECC and S4/HANA), Microsoft Dynamics AX, and IFS. This role blends application configuration, integration troubleshooting, analytical thinking, and cross functional support. This role further requires hands on experience with APIs, middleware, and data transformation. The analyst will work closely with other colleagues in IT, as well as business stakeholders in Procurement and Finance, to ensure the Ivalua platform is stable, scalable, and fully integrated into the enterprise application landscape.
Key Responsibilities
Integration engineering & support — Design, maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance integrations between Ivalua EAIs/ETLs and enterprise systems (SAP, Dynamics AX, IFS) or 3rd party transaction partners. These include APIs, flat file transfers (SFTP), middleware orchestrations, and real time data flows. Analyze JSON/XML payloads, authentication flows, SQL queries and integration logs to resolve data or mapping issues.
Ivalua platform management — Configure, maintain, and optimize Ivalua modules across Procurement, Invoicing, Sourcing, and Contracts. Configurations include EAIs / ETLs, business rules, workflows, forms, catalogs, and custom fields. Propose scalable, maintainable solutions for evolving business requirements. Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce manual effort, and improve system reliability.
Technical issue resolution — Diagnose and resolve application defects, data discrepancies, and integration failures in partnership with IT and business teams. Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
Testing & validation — Co-lead unit testing, regression testing, and UAT cycles for new features, integrations, patches/hotfixes, and releases/upgrades.
Vendor coordination — Work directly with Ivalua support and implementation/consulting partners to prioritize and deliver enhancements, resolve bugs, and manage escalations.
Cross-functional coordination — Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, and IT stakeholders to understand business needs, provide high quality support, and occasionally help document functional and technical specifications for new requirements.
User support & training — Provide Tier 2/3 support, and guidance / best practices for procurement processes and completing transactions.
Security & access control — Maintain role based access and compliance controls across the S2P platform.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
2+ years supporting Ivalua or another enterprise S2P platform (e.g. SAP Ariba, Coupa).
Source to Pay knowledge — Strong understanding of business processes and data structures for procurement, sourcing, invoicing, supplier management, and contracts.
Hands on experience with building and supporting integrations between systems using different protocols including APIs, web services (REST/SOAP), SFTP, and an integration middleware (such as Boomi, MuleSoft, SAP PI/PO, etc.).
Ability to read and interpret JSON, XML, SQL, and integration logs.
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Ability to establish priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Excellent customer service skills.

Salary Range:
$77,900.00-$103,800.000The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, local regulations (such as minimum wage), education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
