The strongest path into a partnerships coordinator role in Boston is through the city's densely networked tech, life sciences, and nonprofit sectors, which hire the most consistently. Candidates who have managed cross-functional projects, handled external stakeholder relationships, or worked in business development at a Boston-area organization stand out. Targeting mid-size growth-stage companies in the Seaport or Kendall Square, or mission-driven nonprofits in Back Bay, gives you the best concentration of open roles.
Which companies hire partnerships coordinators in Boston?

Boston's hiring mix skews toward health tech firms, research-affiliated nonprofits, and SaaS companies that rely heavily on partner networks to drive growth.
Are there remote partnerships coordinator jobs in Boston?
Yes, though availability depends on the role: partnerships coordinator positions that focus on relationship management and communication tend to be more remote-friendly than roles requiring in-person events or on-site partner meetings. About 82% of partnerships coordinator openings tied to Boston are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, with the hybrid split most common at larger tech and healthcare employers in the Seaport and Kendall Square.
How can I get a partnerships coordinator job in Boston with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry point in Boston is through coordinator or program assistant roles at nonprofits, universities, or health networks, where partnership work is built into the job from day one. Organizations affiliated with Boston's academic medical centers and research institutions often hire junior candidates who can manage schedules, communicate with external contacts, and support grant or program relationships. A background in event coordination, university programs, or community outreach translates well and is valued by Boston employers in this space.
