Entry Level Process Improvement Manager Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level process improvement manager job?
Employers hiring at the entry level typically look for candidates who can demonstrate analytical thinking through coursework, internships, or project work, such as a process audit or waste-reduction exercise completed during school. Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma concepts, or basic data tools like Excel or process-mapping software gives candidates a clear edge. A resume that shows even one concrete improvement you drove, with a measurable outcome, stands out at this stage.
Which companies hire entry level process improvement managers?
Companies hiring entry level process improvement managers right now include FCT, Walmart, and Vituity, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Hiring at this level covers manufacturers, healthcare systems, logistics companies, and large retailers that run continuous-improvement programs and need junior analysts to support process teams.
Are there remote entry level process improvement manager jobs?
Yes, though many process improvement roles are on-site because they involve observing workflows in person. About 57% of entry level process improvement manager openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, so candidates open to on-site positions will find a broader range of entry level opportunities available to them.
Are these new grad process improvement manager jobs?
Yes. These listings include new grad, recent graduate, and junior process improvement manager roles. A posting is new-grad friendly when it welcomes zero to two years of experience, counts internships or co-op work toward the requirement, or accepts a portfolio of academic or project-based process work in place of full-time history. Look for phrases like "will train" or "entry level" in the job description as reliable signals.
Which industries hire the most entry level process improvement managers?
Entry Level process improvement manager roles concentrate in Retail, Insurance, and Construction & Real Estate, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. These sectors drive hiring at the junior level because they operate at high volume, run structured continuous-improvement programs, and routinely bring in recent graduates to staff analyst and coordinator roles within those teams.
