Procurement Manager – Energy
Location: Tulsa, OK

Salary: $75,000 – $130,000 per year
Position Summary
Wikota Design & Construction is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead the sourcing, negotiation, and procurement of materials, equipment, and services supporting our energy, fabrication, and construction projects. This position plays a key role in ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget through effective supplier management and strategic purchasing.
Essential Responsibilities
- Develop and execute procurement strategies to support company and project objectives.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure the best value, quality, and delivery performance.
- Manage the full procurement cycle, including requisitions, RFQs, purchase orders, and supplier performance reviews.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Project Management, and Operations teams to forecast material and equipment needs.
- Monitor market conditions, pricing trends, lead times, and supply chain risks.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships while identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, contracts, and applicable industry standards.
- Track procurement metrics, including on-time delivery, supplier performance, and cost savings.
- Resolve purchasing, quality, and delivery issues with minimal impact to project schedules.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives within procurement and supply chain operations.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
- Minimum 7 years of procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management experience in the energy, construction, manufacturing, or industrial sectors.
- Strong contract negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Experience purchasing industrial materials, equipment, and fabricated components.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred
- Experience supporting oil & gas, midstream, pipeline, power generation, or industrial construction projects.
- Knowledge of ASME, API, ASTM, and related industry standards.
- Experience with ERP or procurement management systems.
- CPSM, CPM, CSCP, or other supply chain certifications.
