How do I get an entry level procurement manager job?
Focus on coursework, internships, or project work in supply chain, sourcing, or vendor coordination, since most employers at this level prioritize demonstrated interest over years of experience. Tailor your resume to highlight any purchasing, negotiation, or inventory tasks you have handled. Certifications like CPSM or ISM credentials can also strengthen an entry level application and signal commitment to the field.
Which companies hire entry level procurement managers?
Companies hiring entry level procurement managers right now include Amazon, RXO, and Mace, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Hiring at this level comes from a broad mix of employers, including large manufacturers, government contractors, healthcare systems, and retailers that run structured procurement or supply chain teams and regularly onboard junior talent.
Are there remote entry level procurement manager jobs?
Yes, though on-site and hybrid roles still make up the majority at this stage. About 16% of entry level procurement manager openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, with fully remote positions more common at companies that have distributed procurement teams or operate across multiple regions.
Are these new grad procurement manager jobs?
Yes, the listings on this page include new grad, recent graduate, and junior procurement manager roles. A posting is typically new-grad friendly when it welcomes zero to two years of experience, counts internships or co-ops toward the requirement, or mentions that a relevant degree or portfolio of coursework is acceptable in place of full-time history.
