Entry Level Producer Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level producer job?
Entry level producer roles typically look for candidates who can demonstrate hands-on work, even if it comes from internships, student productions, or personal projects. A focused portfolio showing you can manage timelines, coordinate teams, or deliver a finished product gives you a real edge. Familiarity with production tools and a willingness to take on assistant or coordinator tasks signals readiness to employers hiring at this stage.
Which companies hire entry level producers?

Searching by location preference can help you quickly narrow the current listings to the work setting that fits you.

Yes, these listings include new grad, recent graduate, and junior roles alongside other entry level openings. A posting is typically new-grad friendly when it welcomes zero to two years of experience, accepts internship or school project work, or lists a portfolio as an alternative to a formal resume. Filtering for those signals helps new grad candidates find roles built for them.
