Engineering Co-op - Product Development - Radio Frequency Ablation
- Assist in the determination and execution of appropriate test methods to evaluate product performance, failure modes, root-cause analysis and document results.
- Develop CAD models for prototype designs and test fixturing.
- Participate in cross-functional projects involving new product development, production line enhancements, and process improvement initiatives.
- Identify and recommend design and process improvements to consumable manufacturing and evaluation processes.
- Work within established specifications to achieve project goals with a cross-functional team.
- Support multiple project teams and other departments in new product development and manufacturing.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- Enrolled as a full-time student pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering, or a recent engineering graduate, required. Students studying Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering preferred.
(Recent graduates must be within six months of their graduation date to qualify.) - Prior experience with electromechanical systems preferred.
- Ability to effectively communicate, oral and written, and possess the ability to work through technical issues.
- Statistical analysis experience in tools such as MiniTab preferred.
- Experience in design software, such Solidworks preferred.
- Prior experience with LabVIEW preferred.
- Knowledge of MATLAB preferred.
