How do I get a product manager job in Philadelphia?
The strongest path into Philadelphia's product manager market is targeting its dominant sectors: healthtech, insurance technology, financial services, and enterprise software. Employers in University City and Center City tend to value healthcare domain knowledge or fintech experience. Candidates who can demonstrate cross-functional leadership, data-informed decision making, and stakeholder communication consistently stand out in Philadelphia's mid-market and enterprise hiring environment.
Which companies hire product managers in Philadelphia?

Philadelphia's employer mix leans toward established health systems, insurance carriers, financial institutions, and growing SaaS companies, alongside a smaller but active startup scene in University City and Fishtown.
Are there remote product manager jobs in Philadelphia?
Yes, product management is well suited to remote and hybrid arrangements given its collaborative but largely desk-based nature. About 100% of product manager openings tied to Philadelphia are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting broader industry norms. Strategic and discovery-phase work tends to be the most remote-friendly, while roles tied to hardware, clinical operations, or on-site teams typically require more in-person presence.
How can I get a product manager job in Philadelphia with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Philadelphia is moving into an associate product manager or product analyst role, which several of the city's larger health systems, insurers, and fintech firms offer specifically for early-career candidates. Lateral moves from business analysis, UX research, or project coordination are common. Philadelphia's healthtech sector in particular values candidates with clinical or life sciences backgrounds, giving career changers a concrete edge without years of traditional PM experience.
