About the team
S&A (Standardization & Automation) views technology as a true enabler for Finance as data will be available at various grains for analysis and planning. S&A believes that all planning should be automated and driven with business led inputs and automatic calculations to enable comparison of various scenarios. Finance should have the ability to service both the ad-hoc needs of the business (with the speed necessary for business execution) and drive step function changes with technology incorporated into financial processes.
We envision a future where financial planning is substantially HOTW requiring low to no human touch. Finance planners will come to PLANet (our finance planning system) once the planning cycle starts. All the inputs will already be loaded through Input Automation and through Inputs forecasting (based on predictive forecasting). Financial plans will be pre-computed under different scenarios based on past scenarios, historical actions, adjustments and latest inputs along with descriptive plan summaries and comparisons. We will scientifically recommend the best plan that attests and optimizes to the planners intent. Finally, we will build these capabilities in a highly modularized fashion, ensuring the upcoming GenAi based agentic workflow.
