Growth Product Manager Jobs in Washington: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a growth product manager in Washington?
Most growth product managers in Washington enter through a product analyst, associate product manager, or data analyst role before moving into a dedicated growth PM position. Washington employers, particularly in the Seattle tech cluster, respond strongly to candidates with a quantitative undergraduate or graduate degree combined with hands-on experimentation experience. Building a portfolio of measurable growth experiments, even from side projects or internships, is the most direct way to qualify. No state-issued license or registration applies to this role in Washington.
How much do growth product managers make in Washington?
Growth product managers in Washington earn a median of about $172,270 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $98,220 for the lowest 10% to over $293,590 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire growth product managers in Washington?
Employers hiring growth product managers in Washington right now include Meta, Brex, and Roofr, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Washington's concentration of large-scale consumer and enterprise technology companies means growth PM openings appear consistently throughout the year rather than in seasonal spikes.
Which Washington cities have the most growth product manager jobs?
Seattle, Redmond, and Vancouver have the most growth product manager openings in Washington. Seattle drives the majority of demand as home to Microsoft, Amazon, and a dense ecosystem of growth-stage technology companies, while Bellevue and Redmond capture significant volume from the eastside campuses of those same major employers and their surrounding vendor networks.
Are there remote growth product manager jobs in Washington?
Yes, and more than most fields. About 100% of growth product manager openings tied to Washington are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting how central async collaboration and digital tooling are to this role. The most remote-friendly portions of the work are roadmap planning, data analysis, and stakeholder alignment, while user research sessions and cross-functional sprint reviews tend to favor in-person or hybrid arrangements.
How can I get hired as a growth product manager in Washington with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is through an associate product manager or APM program at a Washington-based technology company. Amazon, Microsoft, and Expedia have all run structured APM or rotational programs that accept candidates without formal product management experience. Transitioning from a data analyst, marketing analyst, or growth marketing role is another common route, since Washington employers place heavy weight on experimentation fluency and analytical skills. A portfolio demonstrating a structured growth experiment, even on a small product, adds meaningful credibility during screening.
