A bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or communications is the standard entry point for product marketing associate roles in Texas. No state-issued license is required for this role. Texas employers, particularly those in Austin's technology corridor and Dallas's corporate sector, look for candidates who can demonstrate experience with product positioning, market research, or content strategy through internships, coursework projects, or a portfolio of campaign work.
How much do product marketing associates make in Texas?
Product marketing associates in Texas earn a median of about $147,880 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $81,820 for the lowest 10% to over $259,200 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire product marketing associates in Texas?
Employers hiring product marketing associates in Texas right now include DoorDash, Bimbo Bakeries USA, and Fonteva, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. Texas's concentration of technology headquarters, healthcare companies, and consumer brands means there is consistent demand for product marketers who can support both B2B and B2C product lines.
Which Texas cities have the most product marketing associate jobs?
Austin, Irving, and Dallas have the highest concentration of product marketing associate openings in Texas. Austin's dense technology and SaaS ecosystem drives the bulk of listings there, while Dallas attracts roles tied to corporate headquarters and enterprise software firms, and Houston's energy and healthcare sectors generate steady demand for product marketers who can communicate complex offerings to specialized audiences.
