Position yourself around ownership, not just participation. Highlight projects where you drove decisions, managed stakeholders, or improved a product metric independently. Tailor your resume to show depth in a domain, whether that is analytics, user research, or roadmap execution. Recruiters at this level want evidence that you can operate without constant direction, so lead with outcomes and scope rather than tasks.

Are there remote mid level product specialist jobs?
Yes, remote and hybrid options are widely available at this level. How do I move up to a mid level product specialist role?
Growing into a mid level role comes from accumulating ownership over time, not just logging years. Focus on expanding from executing tasks to driving outcomes on a project, volunteering to lead cross-functional efforts, and building a specialty others rely on. Demonstrating measurable impact, such as improved retention or faster delivery, is what signals to hiring managers that you are ready for greater scope.
