Entry Level Production Control Manager Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level production control manager job?
Focus on building practical experience through internships, co-ops, or coursework in inventory management, production scheduling, or supply chain operations. Employers hiring at this level look for familiarity with ERP systems, attention to detail, and an ability to coordinate across teams. Highlighting any hands-on projects, even academic ones, gives you a concrete edge over candidates with only a generic resume.
Which companies hire entry level production control managers?
Companies hiring entry level production control managers right now include Nokia, Shape, and Tesla, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. At this level, hiring tends to come from manufacturers, defense contractors, and logistics-intensive operations that rely on structured production workflows and need junior staff to support scheduling and inventory teams.
Are there remote entry level production control manager jobs?
Yes, though most roles at this level are on-site due to the hands-on nature of production environments. About 0% of entry level production control manager openings are remote or hybrid as of June 2026, and those positions typically focus on coordination, reporting, or data management rather than floor-level oversight.
Are these new grad production control manager jobs?
Yes, many of the listings here are new grad and junior roles that explicitly welcome recent graduates and candidates with little or no professional experience. A new-grad-friendly posting typically welcomes zero to two years of experience, accepts internships or co-ops as qualifying background, or considers a strong academic project in lieu of full-time work history.
Which industries hire the most entry level production control managers?
Entry Level production control manager roles concentrate in Manufacturing, Automotive, and Telecommunications, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. These sectors drive hiring at this level because they run high-volume, schedule-dependent operations that depend on junior staff to support inventory tracking, production planning, and materials coordination.
