ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
What you will enjoy doing:
- You will read, understand, and use Product Manufacturing Instructions (PMI’s), Job-Safety Analysis’ (JSA), and schedules to accomplish daily production tasks.
- Further you will support and participate in current and new safety initiatives/policies as business needs arise.
- You will follow step by step instructions detailed by senior operators in turnover reports, written job instructions, or verbal instructions.
- Additionally, you will ensure inventory accuracy by performing basic math and maintaining an organized workspace.
- You will work in a fast-paced environment and will be expected to complete tasks on-time while meeting all safety and quality requirements.
- You will perform the operation of machines, fork trucks, and/or associated equipment.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
What makes you great:
- A High School diploma/GED is required.
- Further you must be able to read, comprehend and understand work instructions.
- You also must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
- Additionally, you must be able to operate fork truck, electric hoist, scales, and label machines.
- Also, you should be comfortable with frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, hand and finger manipulation, occasional stooping, crouching, climbing and capable of lifting 40lbs.
- You must be able to wear a full face or half face respirator.
- Basic computer skills in Microsoft Suite are preferred for this role.
- Required to work a 8-hour schedule Monday - Friday (2:00PM - 10:30PM); training may be required on first shift. Position may eventually go to 12hr shift in the future.
