INTRODUCTION
As a Sr Energy Construction Program Specialist, you will lead and support the execution of complex energy and infrastructure programs focused on K-12 educational facilities. This role blends program management, project controls, and field coordination to ensure successful delivery of energy conservation and renewable energy projects. You will collaborate with internal teams, subcontractors, school district stakeholders, and project managers to ensure work is completed safely, on time, within scope, and aligned with customer expectations. This role emphasizes program performance tracking, subcontractor coordination, and implementation of energy solutions, including solar PV systems and energy conservation measures (ECMs).
This role requires willingness to travel in Central US Region when needed.
YOU MUST HAVE
- 2+ years of experience in program management, project controls, or construction/energy projects.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience coordinating multiple projects in a technical environment.

WE VALUE
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) education/certification.
- Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM).
- Experience with energy performance contracting and energy efficiency programs.
- Knowledge of K-12 school facilities or public sector projects.
- Solar PV project experience (design, installation, or coordination).
- Familiarity with HVAC, building automation, or lighting systems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Excel, and related tools.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and coordinate multiple energy projects across K-12 school districts.
- Support Project Managers in executing energy performance contracts and capital improvements.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
- Coordinate subcontractors and evaluate performance against requirements.
- Support implementation of energy conservation measures and solar PV systems.
- Facilitate project meetings and maintain documentation.
- Communicate risks, issues, and mitigation plans effectively.

The annual base salary range for this position is $114,000 - $142,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
