Senior Civil Project Engineer- In House Position Livingston NJ
Jarmel Kizel Architects & Engineers, Inc. is seeking a dynamic, self-motivated Senior Civil Project Engineer to join our multidisciplinary design firm in Livingston, New Jersey.
This position is focused on site and land development projects and will help guide projects from initial concept through design, permitting, and approvals. The Senior Civil Project Engineer will coordinate with junior-level staff, oversee design efforts, and contribute directly to the preparation and production of plans for submission to local, county, and state agencies.
The position reports to the firm’s Director of Civil Engineering and works collaboratively with our architectural and engineering disciplines. The successful candidate will be a hands-on professional with a positive, “can-do” attitude who enjoys working as part of a team and mentoring junior staff.
Qualifications
- New Jersey Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Minimum 8 years of experience in site/land development design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Strong experience in stormwater management design and application of New Jersey Stormwater Management Rules
- Experience preparing and coordinating site development plans and regulatory submissions
- Ability to oversee and mentor junior-level engineering staff
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills
- Must be authorized to work in the US
- Fully In House position
Salary
$120,000–$140,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
