Entry Level Project Management Coordinator Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level project management coordinator job?
Entry level project management coordinator roles look for candidates who can demonstrate organizational skills, attention to detail, and comfort with project tracking tools like Asana, Jira, or Microsoft Project. Internship experience, coursework in business or operations, and a CAPM or Google Project Management Certificate all strengthen an application. Tailoring your resume to show how you kept projects on schedule, even in academic or volunteer settings, gives you a real edge.
Which companies hire entry level project management coordinators?
Companies hiring entry level project management coordinators right now include BioIVT, Thorlabs, and Banner Health, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Hiring at this level comes from a wide range of employers, including large corporations with structured coordinator programs, mid-size firms building out their project operations teams, and consulting organizations that bring on junior staff to support client delivery.
Are there remote entry level project management coordinator jobs?
Yes, though availability varies by employer and industry. About 33% of entry level project management coordinator openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, making this a strong field for candidates who need flexibility. Many remote coordinator roles still require occasional in-person collaboration, so checking each posting's location requirements before applying is worth doing.
Are these new grad project management coordinator jobs?
Yes, the listings here include new grad, recent graduate, and junior project management coordinator roles. A new grad-friendly posting typically welcomes candidates with zero to two years of experience and treats internships, capstone projects, or a demonstrated portfolio as equivalent to full-time work history. If a posting lists a degree and does not require prior employment, it is a strong candidate for a new grad application.
Which industries hire the most entry level project management coordinators?
Entry Level project management coordinator roles concentrate in Government & Public Sector, Healthcare & Medical Services, and Education, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026.
