- Set project timeline
- Monitor project deliverables
- Update relevant stakeholders or team members on the project progress
- Coach and support project team members with tasks you assign them
- Prepare detailed estimates for sheet metal HVAC work, including ductwork, materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
- Perform quantity takeoffs, obtain supplier quotes, prepare bid proposals, and identify potential cost risks.
- Develop project budgets, schedules, and resource plans.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
- Experience in sheet metal HVAC construction estimating and/or project management.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and construction specifications.
- Knowledge of HVAC ductwork, sheet metal fabrication, installation methods, labor costs, and material pricing.
- Experience preparing estimates, performing takeoffs, and developing bids and proposals.
- Understanding of construction budgets, scheduling, procurement, change orders, and cost control.
- Strong business acumen in project planning and management
- Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills
