Project Manager Jobs in Seattle: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a project manager job in Seattle?
Focus on Seattle's dominant hiring sectors: enterprise technology, cloud infrastructure, healthcare systems, and large-scale construction. Companies in South Lake Union and the Eastside corridor hire the most consistently. A PMP certification or Agile experience stands out in Seattle's tech-heavy market, and candidates who can demonstrate cross-functional delivery in fast-growth environments have a clear edge over generalist applicants.
Which companies hire project managers in Seattle?
Companies currently hiring project managers in Seattle include Amazon, Amazon Web Services, and Colliers Engineering & Design, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. Seattle's employer mix runs from global technology and aerospace firms to regional healthcare networks and commercial real estate developers, so openings exist across both corporate and specialized environments.
Are there remote project manager jobs in Seattle?
Yes, though availability depends on the role type: desk-based and software delivery project managers work remote far more often than construction, facilities, or on-site operations PMs. About 23% of project manager openings tied to Seattle are remote or hybrid as of June 2026, with most of those coming from technology and healthcare employers rather than infrastructure or manufacturing.
How can I get a project manager job in Seattle with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Seattle is a coordinator or associate project manager role at a mid-size technology or healthcare company, where teams are large enough to have structured PM pipelines. Pursuing a CAPM certification or completing a Google Project Management Certificate signals seriousness to local hiring managers. Seattle-area community colleges also offer project management certificates that local employers recognize for entry-level hiring.
Which industries hire the most project managers in Seattle?
Most project manager openings in Seattle sit in Consulting & Professional Services, Technology & Software, and Construction & Real Estate, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. Seattle's concentration of large technology campuses, major hospital systems, and active commercial construction drives consistent demand across those sectors throughout the year.
