Who's Hiring

Project Program Manager Jobs in Atlanta: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a project program manager job in Atlanta?
Focus your search on Atlanta's technology corridor in Midtown, the healthcare systems anchored around Emory and Northside, and the logistics and supply chain firms concentrated near the airport and Cumberland. Employers here respond well to candidates with PMP certification, experience inside matrixed organizations, and familiarity with Agile or hybrid delivery frameworks. Tailoring your resume to each sector's priorities gives you a concrete edge in this competitive market.
Which companies hire project program managers in Atlanta?
Companies currently hiring project program managers in Atlanta include Turner & Townsend Pty Limited, Sage, and AECOM, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Atlanta's market draws from a wide mix of Fortune 500 corporate headquarters, major health systems, fintech firms, and large government contractors, all of which maintain active program management functions.
Are there remote project program manager jobs in Atlanta?
Yes, though availability depends on the role's hands-on requirements, since coordination-heavy and stakeholder-facing positions are more likely to allow remote or hybrid arrangements than roles tied to physical infrastructure or on-site delivery. About 100% of project program manager openings tied to Atlanta are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, with technology and financial services roles accounting for the largest share of flexible arrangements locally.
How can I get a project program manager job in Atlanta with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Atlanta is moving into a junior project coordinator or program analyst role at one of the city's large health systems, government contractors, or corporate shared-services centers, which hire entry-level candidates regularly. Earning a CAPM certification, volunteering as a project lead through Atlanta-area nonprofits or professional chapters, and building familiarity with tools like Smartsheet or Jira all strengthen an early-career candidacy here.
