Ready to build platforms that enable product teams to put AI to work for millions of guests? We're looking for a Technical Product Manager to partner with engineering on the roadmap and requirements for IHG’s AI platform. This is an individual contributor role for someone who thinks in systems, is energized by ambiguity, and can turn messy technical problems into a clear, prioritized plan other teams can build on.
Your Day to Day
Ground the platform roadmap in evidence: dig into usage data and partner with product teams across IHG to surface AI needs. Then turn findings into prioritized use case recommendations that balance competing team needs into a single plan.
Partner with the AI Platform Engineering team to sanity-check incoming requests, partner to define what gets built and why, and track initiatives from kickoff through launch and post-launch outcomes.
Partner with the platform engineers and enterprise architecture on technical trade-offs (e.g. data access, security, and how AI tools should work together) weighing build vs. buy, speed, cost, and scale decisions.
Tailor the message for the room: technical trade-offs and platform performance for engineering, adoption and cost impact for executives. Represent the platform's technical direction in forums across the org on engineering's behalf as needed.
Lend supplemental AI product management support to other domain teams when they need it and your bandwidth allows without taking on ownership of their roadmap or delaying the platform work you lead.
What We Need From You
3-6 years of experience as a Product Manager in a software or tech-first company. You've worked on AI platforms, machine learning, or data-driven products. If you've actually shipped one that drove measurable value, even better.
Working knowledge of what's running under the hood - cloud platforms like Google Cloud Platform, APIs, eval frameworks, data pipelines, agent monitoring tools - enough to have an informed, credible conversation with engineering about the platform itself.
The ability to explain how AI works, what its results mean, and where its limits are, in plain terms that business partners, vendors, leaders, and teammates can act on.
A bias toward fast validation, such as testing a quick prototype or prompt rather than guessing, paired with the judgment to know when something isn't working and the confidence to change course quickly.
Command of AI assistants like Copilot, Claude, Rovo or Gemini Enterprise, along with everyday tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Office 365, to get your work done efficiently day to day.
Preferred
Real knowledge of the hotel guest journey — booking through stay, loyalty, and beyond — with real ideas for where AI can improve the employee experiences.
An entrepreneurial mindset: quick to spot AI-tied opportunities, with a track record of turning them into business value cases that hold up to scrutiny.
The ability to lead and align people across teams even when they don’t report to you.
A working understanding of responsible AI, including bias, privacy, transparency, and governance, along with the judgment to apply those principles when they matter most.

Technical Product Owner Jobs in Georgia: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a technical product owner in Georgia?
The most common path into a technical product owner role in Georgia starts with a bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related technical field, followed by hands-on experience in software development, business analysis, or a related function. No Georgia-specific state license is required for this role. Earning a Certified Scrum Product Owner credential or a SAFe Product Owner certification strengthens your candidacy significantly with Georgia's enterprise and fintech employers.
Which companies hire technical product owners in Georgia?
Employers hiring technical product owners in Georgia right now include Travelers, Amazon, and Rainforest, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Georgia's fintech corridor in Atlanta and Alpharetta, along with major healthcare technology firms and logistics companies headquartered in the state, generate the bulk of consistent demand.
Which Georgia cities have the most technical product owner jobs?
Atlanta, Alpharetta, and Duluth have the most technical product owner openings in Georgia as of September 2026. Atlanta drives the largest share of demand as the state's primary technology and corporate headquarters hub, while Alpharetta's concentration of fintech and software firms creates a secondary cluster, and Savannah's growing logistics and port technology sector accounts for openings in the coastal market.
Are there remote technical product owner jobs in Georgia?
Yes, and more than most fields. About 65% of technical product owner openings tied to Georgia are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting how naturally the role fits distributed team environments. Roadmap planning, backlog grooming, and stakeholder communication are all readily performed remotely, making this one of the more flexible roles in the technology sector.
How can I get hired as a technical product owner in Georgia with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is moving from a closely adjacent role rather than applying directly to product owner positions. Business analysts, QA engineers, and junior developers at Georgia-based technology firms such as NCR Voyix, Fiserv, and Cox Enterprises frequently transition into associate product owner roles by owning feature backlogs on existing teams. Building a portfolio of documented user stories and sprint outcomes, and earning a Certified Scrum Product Owner credential, gives candidates without a product title a concrete signal employers recognize.
Where can I find and apply to technical product owner jobs in Georgia?
You can find and apply to technical product owner jobs in Georgia on Migrate Mate, which lists current Georgia openings across Atlanta, Alpharetta, Savannah, and the broader state. Find roles that fit your experience and apply directly to the employers posting them.
