Who's Hiring

Quality Assurance Engineer Jobs in Orlando: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a quality assurance engineer job in Orlando?
Focus your search on Orlando's three densest hiring clusters: defense and aerospace contractors around the Central Florida Research Park, healthcare technology companies in the Lake Nona Medical City area, and simulation and training firms tied to the military presence near Orlando. Candidates with hands-on experience in automated testing frameworks, JIRA-based defect tracking, or FDA-regulated software validation stand out. Networking through Orlando Tech and UCF's engineering alumni community also opens doors with local employers before positions are publicly posted.
Which companies hire quality assurance engineers in Orlando?
Orlando quality assurance engineer roles are posted by Bento Sushi, Serco, and Andor Health and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. The local market includes a strong mix of defense contractors, hospitality technology firms, healthcare systems, and mid-size software companies that keep dedicated QA teams in-house year-round.
Are there remote quality assurance engineer jobs in Orlando?
Yes, though remote availability depends heavily on the role: analytical and automation-focused QA positions are commonly remote, while hardware validation or on-site compliance testing roles require a physical presence. About 0% of quality assurance engineer openings tied to Orlando are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, skewing toward positions in enterprise software and SaaS. Automation QA and test engineer roles at Orlando's technology companies are the most likely to offer fully remote arrangements.
How can I get a quality assurance engineer job in Orlando with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Orlando is through junior QA analyst or software tester roles at mid-size software and healthcare IT companies, which hire entry-level candidates more consistently than large defense contractors that require clearances. UCF's Computer Science and IT programs feed directly into local employer pipelines, and internship alumni often convert to full-time QA roles. Building a portfolio of automated test scripts using tools like Selenium or Cypress and earning an ISTQB Foundation certification makes a candidate immediately competitive for Orlando's entry-level openings.
