Entry Level Quality Assurance Lead Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level quality assurance lead job?
Focus on building hands-on experience through internships, capstone projects, or personal testing portfolios that show you can identify defects and document findings clearly. Employers at this level look for familiarity with bug-tracking tools, basic test case writing, and attention to detail. A degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field helps, but demonstrated practical skills and a willingness to learn QA methodologies can be equally compelling to hiring managers.
Which companies hire entry level quality assurance leads?
Companies hiring entry level quality assurance leads right now include DHL, FujiFilm, and MES Solutions, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. Hiring at this level covers large technology firms, healthcare software providers, financial services companies, and manufacturing organizations that need structured testing support from candidates who are early in their QA careers.
Are there remote entry level quality assurance lead jobs?
Yes, though availability varies by employer and industry. About 15% of entry level quality assurance lead openings are remote or hybrid as of June 2026, making this a field with reasonable flexibility for candidates who prefer working from home or splitting time between home and office. On-site roles still dominate in regulated industries like healthcare and manufacturing, where physical product testing is part of the job.
Are these new grad quality assurance lead jobs?
Yes, these listings include new grad, recent graduate, and junior quality assurance lead roles alongside other entry level postings. A new grad friendly posting typically welcomes zero to two years of experience, accepts internships or academic projects in place of full-time work history, and does not require professional certifications as a hard prerequisite. Look for language like "entry level," "junior," or "new grad welcome" in the job description to confirm a role fits where you are right now.
Which industries hire the most entry level quality assurance leads?
Entry Level quality assurance lead roles concentrate in Technology & Software, Biotechnology & Pharmaceuticals, and Manufacturing, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. These sectors drive early-career QA hiring because they rely on consistent product releases, regulatory compliance, or high-volume software development cycles that require dedicated testing support even from candidates who are just starting out.
