Your Mission
As a Quality Control Technician, you’ll be the final set of eyes on each pair of Zellerfeld shoes before it moves to the next stage of production or reaches a customer.
Your mission is to ensure every pair meets our quality standards by identifying defects, accurately documenting findings, and clearly communicating concerns to the production team. You’ll play an essential role in preventing quality issues, improving product consistency, and continuously strengthening our production processes.
What You’ll Do
- Inspect 3D-printed shoes at various stages of production for visual, structural, and overall quality
- Identify defects and inconsistencies related to print quality, shape, pattern, finish, sizing, and overall appearance
- Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality standards during inspections
- Accurately document inspection results and maintain clear, organized quality-control records
- Identify, document, and track recurring defects or quality trends
- Properly separate, label, and report rejected or non-conforming products
- Clearly communicate quality concerns to Production Leads and other team members
- Collaborate with the production team to identify issues early and prevent recurring defects
- Provide observations and feedback that support improvements to quality standards, training, and production processes
- Confirm that approved products meet Zellerfeld’s quality expectations before moving to the next stage
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe quality-control workspace
- Support additional quality-related responsibilities as production needs evolve
Your Profile

- You can consistently follow established quality standards and SOPs
- You are comfortable documenting findings and maintaining accurate, organized records
- You communicate quality concerns clearly, respectfully, and professionally
- You are reliable, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
- You can work independently while collaborating closely with Production and Quality Control team members
- Previous experience in quality inspection, product inspection, sorting, manufacturing, garments, footwear, food inspection, or similar hands-on work is preferred
- Experience in footwear, fashion, manufacturing, crafts, or another detail-oriented field is a plus
- No technical degree is required
- You are based in Austin or the surrounding area
- You are willing and able to work your assigned schedule, including weekends and holidays when scheduled

B Shift — Overnight
6:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m.
Sunday–Tuesday, plus every other Wednesday
C Shift — Day
6:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.
Thursday–Saturday, plus every other Wednesday
D Shift — Overnight
6:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m.
Thursday–Saturday, plus every other Wednesday
