PURPOSE OF POSITION:
Coordinates the administrative functions of the Quality group, assists the Quality manager and engineers in problem solving, follow-up, and special tasks as assigned.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Coordinates the Material Review Board (MRB) area. Responsible for physical and systemic flow of suspect material into the area from Incoming Quality Control (IQC), production or test areas and out of area as good material or returned to vendor. Includes working with Supplier Quality Engineer and vendors to get Failure Analysis results.

Coordinates the ISO 9001 internal audit program.

Coordinates the facility 5S program.

Coordinate the incoming quality inspection (IQC) area in cooperation with SQE and the Quality Supervisor across all buildings, and assists SQE in SAP transactions as needed.

Serves as document control coordinator (DCC) backup.

Manages QMN calibration records.

Assists HR department with administration of the training records system.

Generates weekly detail and summary reports and charts to assist the Quality Manager and QE Leads for each customer.

Reports on OBA/COS failures and leads the team on root cause and corrective actions for recurring OBA/COS failures.

Participates in cross-functional team for corrective action efforts to reduce part damage including root cause and countermeasure actions using customer and Quanta required methodologies and formats (8D, 5-why, fishbone, etc.).

Recommends modifications of existing quality or production standards to achieve optimum quality within limits of process capability.

Maintains control of physical and systemic inventory levels, prepares and coordinates area activities for physical inventories.

Acts as backup/liaison to the Quality Supervisor in the supervisor’s absence and/or by request of the Quality Supervisor.

Special projects as needed per customer, QCI or Quality department requests.

Any other tasks as assigned by the Quality Manager.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
4-year college degree with two years related experience or high school diploma with five years related experience.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.

Ability to read, write and speak fluent English.

Computer literate in a Windows Environment: Excel, Word, Power Point, Visio, Edge, etc.

Detail oriented with good organizational skills.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to use tact and diplomacy.

Self-motivated with ability to use own initiative.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, talk and listen. The employee is occasionally required to stand; sit; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
