Indiana requires license renewal on a regular cycle with continuing education credits to maintain active status.

Indianapolis drives the largest share of postings because of its concentration of major health system headquarters and dedicated cancer centers, while Fort Wayne and South Bend generate consistent demand through large regional medical centers that serve broad patient populations across northern Indiana.

About 0% of radiation therapist openings tied to Indiana are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, and those positions typically involve administrative, education, or dosimetry consulting responsibilities rather than direct patient treatment.
How can I get hired as a radiation therapist in Indiana with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is applying directly to new-graduate positions posted by Indiana's large health systems, particularly Indiana University Health and Parkview Health, which regularly bring on new ARRT-certified graduates. Completing clinical rotations at Indiana institutions during your accredited program builds familiarity with local hiring managers. Candidates transitioning from radiologic technology or dosimetry support roles have also moved into radiation therapist positions.
