Description
American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist with ARRT certification and 2+ years of experience to perform diagnostic imaging across ED, inpatient, OR, and outpatient settings.
Details
- Radiology - Diagnostics department within a 244-bed facility with ED, ICU, progressive care, and 16 OR suites
- TJC Stroke accredited facility with no trauma designation
- Department performs an average of 120 studies/day, with higher volume on weekdays
- Serves ED, inpatient, observation, and outpatient patients
- Provides imaging in the ED, fluoroscopy, OR (C-arm, O-arm, G-arm), and portable settings
- 12-hour night shifts, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 7p-7a, 36 hours per week
- On-call required, 2 shifts per month as needed
- No floating required
- EMR: Epic, RIS: Epic Radiant, PACS: Philips iSite
- Equipment includes Philips Diagnost R/F, Intelli C R/F, Shimadzu RadSpeed and portables, GE OEC Elite C-arms, Medtronic O-arm, and Globus G-arm
Requirements
- ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology required
- BLS certification required
- License required if applicable
- Minimum 2 years of experience required
- Experience with fluoroscopy, OR, portable imaging, and ED flow required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Minimum 12 months of core work experience in the specialty area, with most recent experience within the last year
- At least 1 professional reference dated within the last year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN
- Last 4 digits of SSN and full date of birth required for consideration
Additional Information
- Provide diagnostic imaging support including fluoroscopy, OR, and portable studies for ED, inpatient, observation, and outpatient patients
- Guest services and transport support available for inpatient and observation patients
- Administrative onboarding (Epic, eLearnings, policy review) is 1 day, with 2 days to 1 week of departmental orientation as needed
- Travelers will work 75% of holidays
- RTO subject to manager approval
- Black scrubs required
- Free parking available in surface lots and parking decks
- First-time travelers will be considered
- Traveler's permanent address must be at least 50 miles outside the home unit; local candidates not accepted
- Candidates must be separated from any AHSE facility for at least 1 year after working a permanent position
