How do I get a real estate job in Los Angeles?
Focus your search on the sectors that drive the most hiring in Los Angeles: luxury residential brokerage in Beverly Hills and Bel Air, commercial leasing in Century City and Downtown, and property management across the Westside and San Fernando Valley. Boutique brokerages, national commercial firms, and large residential developers all hire regularly. Candidates who know specific Los Angeles submarkets, speak to high-net-worth clientele, or have experience with mixed-use developments stand out in this competitive market.
Which companies hire real estates in Los Angeles?
Companies currently hiring real estates in Los Angeles include The Building People, Luxury Collective Real Estate, and Wells Fargo, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Los Angeles employers range from global commercial real estate firms with offices in Century City and Downtown to boutique luxury brokerages serving neighborhoods like Brentwood, Pacific Palisades, and the Hollywood Hills.
Are there remote real estate jobs in Los Angeles?
Yes, though remote availability depends heavily on the role. Client-facing positions like sales agents and leasing consultants are largely on-site by nature, while desk-based roles in real estate analysis, asset management, and marketing can often be remote or hybrid. About 45% of real estate openings tied to Los Angeles are remote or hybrid as of September 2026. Analytical and back-office roles at larger firms in Downtown and Century City tend to offer the most schedule flexibility.
How can I get a real estate job in Los Angeles with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Los Angeles is a support or coordinator role at a residential brokerage or property management company. Large apartment operators in neighborhoods like Koreatown, Culver City, and the South Bay regularly hire leasing consultants and property coordinators with no prior experience. Smaller boutique brokerages along the Westside often bring on transaction coordinators and client services staff at the entry level. Familiarity with Los Angeles neighborhoods and strong client communication skills give new candidates a meaningful edge here.

Los Angeles's combination of a high-value residential market, major commercial corridors in Century City and Downtown, and a large multifamily rental stock keeps demand for real estate professionals spread across multiple sectors throughout the year.
