Job Summary
As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or Behavior Technician, you’ll provide direct behavioral therapy to children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders and other neurodevelopmental disorders. You’ll implement applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy protocols and behavior plans, teach practical skills, and support students in a school based setting. You will support students with academic work within their classroom under the guidance of a classroom teacher and BCBA.

Responsibilities
- Deliver behavioral therapy and teaching activities according to established protocols and plans.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), behavior management, and autism spectrum disorders support.
- Collect and document behavioral data.
- Communicate respectfully with students, families, and coworkers about progress and student needs.
- Protect privacy and follow Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) requirements and the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts.
Requirements
- Experience working with children and individuals with disabilities; experience with autism or other developmental conditions is valuable.
- Familiarity with applied behavior analysis, behavioral health, direct behavioral therapy, and implementing ABA therapy protocols.
- Ability to collect behavioral data and maintain clear records and documentation.
- Experience in school-based behavioral services, and special education is preferred.
- Knowledge of ADL support, care plans, client communication, and ethical, privacy-conscious practice.
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
