INTRODUCTION

Under the general supervision of the Medical Director, the Registered Nurse provides comprehensive primary care to support the physical, mental, emotional, and social well-being of the student population. The Registered Nurse assesses the nature and urgency of healthcare concerns, determines the appropriate disposition, evaluates current symptoms, obtains relevant physical and psychosocial history, gathers objective data, and provides health education in accordance with Student Health Services nursing protocols. Care is provided in person, by telephone, and through electronic communication. This is a permanent 9-month, in-person, fully benefited position. Monday-Friday 8:30-4:30 pm.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Current state licensure as a registered nurse in Massachusetts.
• 3-5 Years of nursing experience required. Triage experience and previous experience in college health setting preferred.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, clinicians and staff.
• Basic computer skills.
• Professional, friendly attitude.
