This position is designed for an experienced admissions professional who will take on advanced territory management while serving as a highly knowledgeable representative of the University. REPORTS TO: Director of Undergraduate Admissions
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
Serve as a premier point of contact for students and families through in-person interactions at high schools, community colleges, and on-campus events, expertly guiding them through the application and admission process and providing clear information on programs and requirements.
Represent the University at high-profile recruitment events, college fairs, and information sessions, delivering highly engaging presentations and building authentic, lasting connections with prospective students.
Evaluate completed applications for admission decisions and corresponding credit evaluations, utilizing seasoned judgment to ensure timely and thorough review.
Cultivate deep, impactful relationships with school counselors, community-based organizations, and other key influencers to significantly strengthen the University’s visibility and pipeline.
Collaborate seamlessly with campus partners across academic departments, student services, and signature programs to support prospective and admitted students through a streamlined enrollment process.
Plan and host premier on-campus and regional events, such as open houses, admitted student days, and workshops designed to deeply engage students and families throughout the recruitment cycle.
Provide expert, individualized follow-up and counseling to prospective students to support complex application completion, enrollment decision-making, and successful transition to the University
Contribute valuable field experience and insights to strategic recruitment initiatives, including territory management, communication campaigns, and yield/melt efforts that drive enrollment goals
Perform other job-related duties as assigned in support of the Admissions team and University enrollment objectives, frequently leading by example for newer counselors.

Proven ability to autonomously prioritize a complex workload according to volume, urgency, etc..

Adept at working remotely and fully utilizing modern digital tools.
Knowledge of Google Workspace and the Microsoft Office suite.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Flexibility and ability to work evening hours and weekends as needed for recruitment events.
Ability to safely carry materials up to 15lbs.
Ability to drive and travel extensively to locations across assigned recruiting area(s) (must have a valid driver’s license).
EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree is required.
Minimum of two years of related experience is required
Three to five years of progressive admissions experience is strongly preferred for this senior title.
