JOB OVERVIEW
Brand Vantage is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to acquire U.S. clients for our international staffing and talent-solutions division.
You will manage the full sales cycle—from prospecting and discovery through proposals, negotiation and closing. You will help U.S. companies build dedicated teams of skilled professionals based in Bangalore, India, who work as an extension of the client’s existing workforce.
This position requires direct experience selling offshore staffing, international talent, RPO, BPO workforce solutions or a closely comparable service to companies in the United States.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify and pursue U.S. companies that could benefit from dedicated offshore talent.
- Build relationships with HR, talent acquisition, founders, executives and functional leaders.
- Generate a qualified pipeline through outbound prospecting, networking, referrals and partnerships.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from initial outreach through contract execution.
- Conduct discovery to understand each client’s hiring needs, required capabilities, budget and timeline.
- Develop proposals and staffing solutions with Brand Vantage’s Bangalore recruitment team.
- Explain how dedicated Bangalore-based professionals can integrate with and support a client’s existing team.
- Negotiate commercially sound agreements that meet Brand Vantage’s margin requirements.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline information and revenue forecasts.
- Coordinate the handover of new clients to recruitment and onboarding.
- Achieve agreed new-client, revenue and collected gross-profit targets.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Three or more years of successful B2B sales or business-development experience.
- Direct experience selling offshore staffing, international staffing, global talent, RPO, BPO workforce solutions or dedicated offshore teams to U.S. companies.
- Demonstrated success generating your own pipeline and closing new accounts.
- Experience selling to HR, talent acquisition, founders or senior business leaders.
- Strong discovery, presentation, negotiation and closing skills.
- Understanding of international recruitment and offshore team integration.
- Experience working with recruitment or delivery teams in India or another offshore market is preferred.
- An existing U.S. network of relevant business or HR decision-makers is advantageous.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Disciplined CRM use and forecasting.
- Ability to collaborate across U.S. and Indian time zones.
- Authorization to work in the United States without employment sponsorship.
COMPENSATION
The base salary is $55,000–$70,000, depending on directly relevant experience and demonstrated sales performance.
The position includes uncapped commission based on collected gross profit from new clients originated by the successful candidate. Higher commission rates may apply after agreed performance thresholds are achieved.
