As we continue to expand, we are looking for a motivated Talent Acquisition Manager to help strengthen our recruiting efforts and take our talent strategy to the next level.
The OpportunityThis is a hands-on role for an experienced technical recruiter who understands the federal contracting environment and knows how to identify and recruit top technical talent.
The ideal candidate can clearly distinguish between Software Developers, Systems Engineers, System Administrators, Network Engineers, Project Managers, and other technical disciplines, and understands what makes a strong candidate for each.
Responsibilities- Manage full-cycle recruiting for technical positions supporting DoD and Intelligence Community customers.
- Source, screen, interview, and manage candidates through the hiring process.
- Build and maintain strong pipelines of technical and cleared talent.
- Partner with leadership and hiring managers to understand current and future staffing requirements.
- Help streamline recruiting, onboarding, and employee processing.
- Attend local recruiting events, career fairs, and industry networking events throughout the DMV.
- Help improve recruiting processes, candidate experience, and employee retention.
- Support A&M's continued growth through industry relationship building and networking.
- Participate in select business development activities, with additional bonus incentives for successful business development efforts.
- 3+ years of technical recruiting or talent acquisition experience.
- Experience recruiting within Federal IT, DoD, Intelligence Community, or Government Contracting strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of technical roles, technologies, and skill sets.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a 100% remote environment.
- Must be local to the DMV area and available for occasional local events.
- Experience recruiting cleared professionals is highly preferred.
- Active security clearance is a plus, but not required.
- Business development or federal contracting experience is a plus.
