Tips for Your Remote Enterprise Sales Representative Job Search
Signal your remote work readiness upfront
Call out async tools you use daily, such as Salesforce, Outreach, or Gong, and give a concrete example of a deal you managed from first contact to close without in-person meetings. Remote hiring managers look for this before reading anything else.
Apply early to remote roles that fit
Migrate Mate lists remote enterprise sales representative openings from across the U.S. in one place, so you can find roles that match your sector and seniority and apply directly without sorting through mixed listings.
Build an async communication sample
Prepare a short, written deal overview or territory plan you can share during the interview process. Remote employers hiring enterprise sales representatives put heavy weight on written clarity because so much of the role happens over email, Slack, and recorded video calls.
Focus on remote-first companies in your target sector
Remote-first SaaS, fintech, and cloud infrastructure firms have built their sales processes around distributed teams and are far more likely to offer genuine remote roles than companies still treating remote as an exception.
Remote Enterprise Sales Representative Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a remote enterprise sales representative job?
Target companies that already run distributed sales teams, since they have the processes and tooling to support remote enterprise sellers from day one. Remote employers screen hard for self-direction, clear written communication, and comfort with async collaboration across CRM platforms and video calls. A demonstrated history of managing long sales cycles and multiple stakeholders independently gives you a real edge over candidates who have only worked in-office.
Which companies hire remote enterprise sales representatives?
Remote enterprise sales representative roles are posted by Optiv, minio, and Nerdio and others right now, based on current remote listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Remote-first SaaS companies, cloud infrastructure vendors, and distributed fintech and healthcare technology firms are the most consistent sources of these openings.
Can you get a remote enterprise sales representative job with no experience?
Yes, but remote entry-level enterprise sales roles are harder to land because you need to work independently without on-site coaching from day one. Remote-first SaaS startups and scale-ups are the most open to entry-level candidates. Showing strong written communication, familiarity with CRM tools, and any outbound prospecting work you've done on your own goes a long way when formal experience is thin.
Do you need a degree for remote enterprise sales representative jobs?
Not always. Many remote employers hiring enterprise sales representatives weigh a verifiable history of hitting quota, experience managing complex deals with multiple decision-makers, and fluency with CRM and sales engagement platforms over a specific degree. A bachelor's in business or a related field is common in job postings, but demonstrated results consistently open doors that credentials alone do not.
