Job Title: Sales Executive, Porch Group Media
Location: United States
Workplace Type: Remote
Job Summary
The future is bright for the Porch Group, and we'd love for you to be a part of it as our Sales Executive, Porch Group Media.
As Sales Executive, you will drive new business acquisition across SMB and mid-market consumer brands, selling the data and marketing solutions that help smaller, growth-focused brands acquire and retain customers more efficiently. This is a high-volume hunting role: you will spend most of your time prospecting, building your own pipeline through outbound calls, email, and social outreach, and running fast, efficient sales cycles from first conversation to signed contract. You will work a larger number of smaller deals than an enterprise rep, which means speed, consistency, and strong follow-up matter as much as any single close.
Porch Group Media helps growth-focused consumer brands acquire and retain customers more efficiently through data and marketing solutions. We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys the grind of prospecting, thrives on volume and momentum, and is motivated to build a track record here that opens the door to larger accounts down the line.
What You Will Do As A Sales Executive:
New-Business Development
Own and drive new business acquisition strategy across SMB and mid-market consumer brands in the U.S.
Run high-volume outbound prospecting, including calls, email, and social outreach, to build and refill your own pipeline every week.
Build relationships with marketing, growth, and data decision-makers at smaller consumer brands.
Sales Execution & Pipeline Management
Lead fast-moving, efficient sales cycles from first outreach to signed contract, without needing a long, hand-held process.
Build clear, right-sized proposals and pricing packages that fit SMB budgets and decision timelines.
Maintain a high-velocity pipeline with strong weekly activity and consistent stage progression.
Keep CRM data current and accurate given a higher volume of touches and deals in motion at once.
Consistently meet monthly and quarterly new-logo targets.
What You Will Bring As A Sales Executive:
2+ years of experience in SMB or mid-market business development or sales, ideally at a data provider or direct-to-consumer marketing or media company.
Comfortable making high-volume cold outreach a daily habit and building a pipeline from scratch rather than working inbound leads.
Proven track record of exceeding quota in fast, transactional sales cycles with smaller deal sizes.
Resourceful and scrappy; you don't need a fully built playbook to figure out how to win.
Enough understanding of marketing and data products to speak credibly with SMB owners, marketing leads, or founders.
Strong CRM discipline and organization, given the volume of touches and deals you'll be managing at once.
Sharp, concise written and verbal communication suited to quick decision cycles.
Competitive and coachable, motivated by activity and quick wins, with an eye toward growing into larger accounts over time.
How We Will Measure Success:
Consistent volume of self-sourced pipeline generated each week and month.
Reliable achievement of monthly and quarterly new-logo targets.
Speed and efficiency from first touch to close.
A growing book of business with early signs of expansion potential in key accounts.
The application window for this position is anticipated to close in 2 weeks (10 business days) from 8/10/2026. Please know this may change based on business and interviewing needs.
At this time, Porch Group does not consider applicants from the following states or jurisdictions for Remote positions: Alaska, Delaware, Hawaii, Mississippi, Nebraska, Montana, New Hampshire, West Virginia, or the District of Columbia.

Tips for Your Remote Sales Executive Job Search
Apply early to remote roles that fit
Migrate Mate lists remote sales executive openings from across the U.S. in one place, so you can find roles that match your background and apply directly without sorting through mixed results. Early applications on competitive remote postings see stronger response rates.
Quantify your pipeline in every application
Remote employers can't observe you day to day, so they rely on numbers to evaluate candidates. Lead every resume bullet with quota attainment percentages, average deal size, and cycle length so hiring managers can assess your output without an in-person read.
Show async and written communication skills upfront
Remote sales executives sell over email, Slack, and video as much as phone. Make your written communication a visible asset from your first message to a recruiter, and in your cover letter, by being concise, structured, and specific about your experience.
Learn the tools remote sales teams run on
Fluency with Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, Gong, and Zoom is close to table stakes for remote sales roles. Name the specific platforms you've used in your resume skills section and be ready to describe how you used them to manage your pipeline independently.
Remote Sales Executive Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a remote sales executive job?
Target companies with fully distributed or remote-first sales teams, particularly in SaaS, fintech, and professional services, where remote selling is built into the operating model. Remote employers screen for self-direction, clear written communication, and fluency with CRM platforms and async collaboration tools. Candidates who show documented quota attainment, experience managing a pipeline independently, and comfort running discovery calls over video stand out most.
Which companies hire remote sales executives?
Employers currently hiring remote sales executives include DSI Tech, Ethos, and Siemens Healthineers, per current remote listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Remote-first technology companies, distributed healthcare platforms, and financial services firms with national sales territories account for the largest share of open roles.
Can you get a remote sales executive job with no experience?
Yes, but remote entry-level roles are harder to land because employers expect you to manage your own pipeline and schedule without in-office oversight from day one. Remote-first SaaS and e-commerce companies are the most likely to hire junior candidates. Showing a track of outbound outreach, even from internships or freelance projects, along with strong written communication, opens more doors than experience alone.
Do you need a degree for remote sales executive jobs?
Not always. Remote employers in software and tech-adjacent sectors consistently prioritize demonstrated results over formal credentials, looking at closed deals, revenue generated, and CRM proficiency rather than degree field. A degree helps in more credential-conscious industries like financial services, but a strong portfolio of measurable sales outcomes and polished written communication can offset the absence of one in most remote hiring contexts.
Which industries hire the most remote sales executives?
Remote sales executive roles concentrate in Technology & Software, Consulting & Professional Services, and Accounting & Auditing, based on current remote listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Those sectors hire sales executives remotely because their products and services sell effectively over video and phone, making geography irrelevant to building and closing a national or global book of business.
