Who's Hiring

Restaurant Jobs in Tulsa: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a restaurant job in Tulsa?
Start by targeting Tulsa's busiest dining corridors: Cherry Street, the Brady Arts District, Brookside, and the Blue Dome area concentrate the highest density of independent and chain openings. Full-service restaurants, hotel food and beverage outlets, and fast casual groups hire most consistently. Candidates with food handler certification, prior table-side or line experience, and open weekend availability move faster through the hiring process in this market.
Which companies hire restaurants in Tulsa?
Tulsa restaurant roles are posted by Potbelly, Areas, and Popeyes and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. The Tulsa market includes a mix of regional hospitality groups, nationally branded quick-service operators, and independent full-service concepts tied to the city's growing dining scene.
Are there remote restaurant jobs in Tulsa?
Yes, but only for a narrow slice of the field. Hands-on positions like server, line cook, and host are on-site by nature, while roles in restaurant operations management, training, or corporate culinary development can be remote. About 0% of restaurant openings tied to Tulsa are remote or hybrid as of July 2026. Supply chain, marketing, and multi-unit management roles carry the most remote flexibility locally.
How can I get a restaurant job in Tulsa with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry point in Tulsa is a support role like busser, food runner, dishwasher, or counter attendant, which most full-service restaurants in Brookside and Cherry Street fill without requiring prior experience. Tulsa Community College's culinary and hospitality programs also connect students directly with local employers. Showing open availability, completing a free food handler course through the Tulsa Health Department, and applying in person during off-peak hours gives entry-level candidates a clear edge.
