Ready to be the Boss? Step Up to General Manager
Location: Mountain Mike's Pizza – Colorado Springs, CO (80921)
Base Salary + KPI Bonuses
The Opportunity: Be the Boss, Not the Assistant
I am the owner of this franchise, but I also have a demanding, full-time corporate job. I do not want to micromanage you.
I am looking for an operating team member to step in, and run this store as if it were their own. If you are currently an Assistant Manager, a Kitchen Manager, or an elite Shift Lead who is doing 80% of your GM’s job but blocked from a promotion, this is your chance to take the training wheels off.
If you are tired of corporate red tape, tired of having a boss looking over your shoulder, and want the freedom to run your own four walls and share directly in the profits you create—we need to talk.
What You Will Actually Do:
You will not just be doing inventory and making schedules. You will be the executive of this location.
- Protect the Margins: You run the floor, not the back office. You will physically monitor portion controls, eliminate food waste, and aggressively cut labor the second the lunch or dinner rush dies down.
- Drive Grassroots Sales: You aren't afraid to leave the building. You will shake hands with local business owners, set up school fundraisers, and drive community catering orders.
- Build the Culture: You lead from the front. You are willing to plunge a toilet, wash dishes, and jump on the ovens to protect the store, and you have zero tolerance for toxic employees who bring the team down.
- Act as the Firewall: When a driver calls out on a Friday at 6:00 PM, you don't panic, you throttle the third-party delivery tablets, protect the dine-in experience, and lead the team through the rush.
The "Skin in the Game" Compensation Structure:
We do not cap your earning potential. Your pay is directly tied to your operational discipline.
- The Base: guaranteed salary to give you peace of mind.
- The Labor Bonus: Hit our specific monthly direct labor percentage target, and you get an automatic cash bonus.
- The Food Cost Bonus: Keep our COGS under our monthly target through strict portion control, and you get an automatic cash bonus.
- The Profit Share: As you grow the bottom-line Net Operating Income of the store, you receive a percentage of those profits. If the store wins, your paycheck wins.
Who Should Apply:
You do not need prior "General Manager" on your resume, but you absolutely must have restaurant, fast-casual, or pizza experience. You must know how to lead a crew of 6-8 hourly employees, and you must have the grit to handle the pressure of a dinner rush without losing your cool.
To Apply: Submit your resume and include a brief message explaining why you are ready to stop being the assistant and start running your own store.
