Who's Hiring

Restaurant Operations Management Jobs in Charleston: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a restaurant operations management job in Charleston?
Focus on Charleston's dense hospitality corridor along King Street, the Historic District, and the growing East Side, where independent full-service restaurants, hotel food-and-beverage programs, and group dining concepts hire most actively. Candidates with multi-unit oversight experience, strong cost-control skills, and familiarity with high-volume seasonal operations stand out in this market. Building relationships with local hospitality groups before openings are posted gives you a real edge here.
Which companies hire restaurant operations managements in Charleston?
Companies currently hiring restaurant operations managements in Charleston include BHC, Bojangles', and Cook Out Restaurants, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. The local market is a mix of independent restaurant groups, hotel-attached dining programs, and expanding fast-casual and full-service concepts drawn by Charleston's year-round tourism and strong dining culture.
Are there remote restaurant operations management jobs in Charleston?
Yes, but only in a limited subset of the role, since restaurant operations management is fundamentally hands-on and floor-present work. About 0% of restaurant operations management openings tied to Charleston are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, and those positions tend to cover corporate-level functions such as multi-unit reporting, vendor management, or training program development rather than day-to-day service operations.
How can I get a restaurant operations management job in Charleston with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Charleston is moving up from a shift lead or assistant manager role inside one of the city's many independent restaurant groups or hotel food-and-beverage programs, which regularly promote from within. Roles like floor supervisor, bar manager, or catering coordinator at Charleston's event-driven venues build the operational credibility that local hiring managers look for before moving someone into full operations management.
