Mid Level Revenue Cycle Management Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a mid level revenue cycle management job?
Position your experience around ownership and measurable outcomes rather than task completion. Highlight specific areas where you led a billing process, resolved complex denials, or reduced claim rejection rates. Certifications such as CPC or CRCR signal credibility, and tailoring your resume to show depth in a specialty, whether coding, AR, or payer contracts, separates mid level candidates from generalists.
Which companies hire mid level revenue cycle managements?
Companies hiring mid level revenue cycle managements right now include Abridge, HHAeXchange, and Surgery Partners, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Health systems, physician practice groups, revenue cycle outsourcing firms, and insurance payers are the most active employers at this experience level.
Are there remote mid level revenue cycle management jobs?
Yes, remote and hybrid options are common in this field. About 33% of mid level revenue cycle management openings are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, reflecting how much of the work, claims processing, denial follow-up, and payer communication, can be done without being on-site.
How do I move up to a mid level revenue cycle management role?
Moving from entry level to mid level means building depth in a specific function, such as medical coding, accounts receivable, or prior authorization, while taking on projects with less direct supervision. Demonstrating measurable impact, like improved clean claim rates or faster denial resolution times, combined with a relevant certification, signals to employers that you are ready for increased ownership and responsibility.
Which industries hire the most mid level revenue cycle managements?
Mid Level revenue cycle management roles concentrate in Healthcare & Medical Services, Technology & Software, and Insurance, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. These sectors drive the highest volume of billing activity and regulatory complexity, creating consistent demand for professionals who can manage the full revenue cycle with limited oversight.
