THE OPPORTUNITY

Verse Medical is hiring a RevOps Analyst / GTM Engineer. This role is a critical hire as we build out the revenue operations function at Verse. This is one role with two halves. The analyst half answers the questions leadership cannot answer today: where pipeline comes from, where it stalls, and what the forecast actually is. The GTM engineer half builds the systems that stop those questions from being asked again: the Salesforce object model, the routing rules, the data pipelines, the automations and agents. We sell to health systems, discharge planners, case managers, and post-acute partners, which means one health system is many locations and many referral sources rather than one account. That shape makes territory design, routing, and pipeline analysis harder than a typical logo-based motion, and worth doing well. This is a hands-on individual contributor role with no team and no backlog waiting for you. If you want to write only SQL, or only administer Salesforce, this is not the right role. If you want to find a broken revenue process and fix it end to end, it is.

Pipeline and Forecast Operations

- Run pipeline reviews, forecast calls, and weekly revenue reporting with accurate data, clear summaries, and tracked follow-up.
- Monitor stage progression, conversion rates, sales cycle length, deal slippage, stale opportunities, close-date hygiene, and loss reasons, and say what they mean, not just what they are.
- Partner with sales leadership and AEs to improve pipeline inspection, deal movement, and accountability without adding unnecessary admin work.
- Own target account, territory, ownership, and routing logic as the team scales, including the fact that one health system is many locations and many referral sources, not one account.
- Model quotas, capacity, and comp plans, and produce the numbers that pay people correctly.

CRM, Data, and AI-Native Operations

- Own Salesforce as a system, not a database: object model, fields, validation rules, flows, and permissions. Make the CRM reflect how we actually sell.
- Own day-to-day hygiene for required fields, lifecycle and stage accuracy, source attribution, account and contact quality, and data completeness.
- Design, test, and roll out workflows that improve fill rates, enforce required fields, flag stale or low-quality data, and reduce manual cleanup.
- Build and maintain dashboards for funnel conversion, rep activity, meetings, pipeline, forecast, and source performance.
- Own the GTM stack end to end: what we buy, what we build, and how Salesforce, Gong, the warehouse, and outbound tooling talk to each other. Write the scripts and API integrations yourself.
- Build internal AI tooling that puts answers in front of reps and leaders without them opening a report: account briefs, deal-risk alerts, automated CRM updates, Slack-native lookups. We already run agents against Salesforce and Gong, and you will extend them and decide what gets built next.
- Use AI to compress the unglamorous work (data cleanup, enrichment QA, dedupe logic, first-pass analysis, documentation) and build the evaluation alongside it. An agent that is right 80% of the time and silent about the rest is worse than no agent.
- Choose honestly between buying a tool, writing a script, and prompting a model, and be able to do the middle one yourself.
- Document core GTM processes and handoffs across marketing, SDR, sales, finance, and enablement.

GTM Insights, Assets, and Operating Support

- Act as the operational partner to Sales, Marketing, Finance, Enablement, and Clinical Operations. Translate each team's questions into data they can act on, and keep metric definitions consistent so they all work from the same numbers.
- Support Finance on quota, capacity, commission exports, and board reporting; Marketing on attribution and source performance; Enablement with the data that shows where training is needed.
- Support analytics across the full customer lifecycle (marketing attribution, pipeline generation, conversion, and customer health and retention), not just the part of the funnel that closes.
- Translate messy sales data into insights the team can act on: where conversion drops, which sources progress, where deals stall, and what needs follow-up.
- Support QBRs, pipeline reviews, board and leadership reporting, and ad hoc analysis.
- Build lightweight operating assets: pipeline review templates, deal inspection views, forecast notes, lead-to-qualified reports, rep follow-up trackers, performance scorecards.
- Be the source of truth. When two teams bring two different numbers, you own which one is right and why.

Experience

What You Bring

- 2+ years in revenue operations, sales operations, GTM operations, business operations, or analytics supporting a sales team. Time in a growth-stage company where you built rather than maintained counts for more than years on a résumé.
- Strong understanding of GTM metrics, pipeline mechanics, forecast support, CRM hygiene, and sales process discipline.
- Ownership of a system end to end. You have been the person accountable for a CRM, a reporting layer, or a GTM data pipeline, not a requester of tickets.
- Comfort with ambiguity and no playbook. You will decide what matters most this month.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

- Strong SQL. You can write window functions and multi-CTE queries without looking them up, and you know how to sanity-check your own results.
- Deep Salesforce. Object model, flows, validation rules, reports and dashboards, permissions, with hands in the org. Certification is welcome but not a substitute.
- Hands-on work with LLM tooling in production, not as a demo: prompting, function calling or MCP, retrieval, and some way of checking whether the output is right. Show us something you shipped.
- Experience with a BI tool and a data warehouse, and an opinion on what belongs in the warehouse versus the CRM.

SOFT SKILLS

- Analytical and detail-oriented, but practical: you know the goal is better decisions and cleaner execution, not reporting for reporting's sake.
- Clear communication with non-technical people, and comfort pushing back respectfully when a number doesn't hold up, including when it's a leader's number.
- Track record partnering across sales, marketing, finance, and product to turn data into decisions.
- Bias for automation and AI-enabled workflows that save time and improve accuracy, with the judgment to know when the output is wrong.
- Comfortable operating with urgency and ambiguity. Low ego, high ownership.

BONUS POINTS

- Healthcare, DME, home health, or post-acute experience, or any background modeling a business where the payor, the referrer, and the patient are three different parties.
- Familiarity with HCPCS, payer mix, or authorization workflows, and how they show up in GTM data.
- You've built and maintained an agent or automation that a team came to depend on, including the part where you had to fix it when it broke.
- dbt, Gong's API, or prior work wiring a GTM stack together with code rather than Zapier.

THE PEOPLE YOU'LL WORK WITH

You will report to the Head of RevOps. This role is cross-functional by design: you will work daily with AEs, SDRs, and Sales Managers, and regularly with marketing, finance, enablement, and clinical operations. You will also work closely with product and engineering, since much of what you build sits on the same systems they do. Expect to be the person several teams come to before they make a decision. The stack you'll own: Salesforce (pipeline, stages, and the data behind every forecast conversation), Gong (call review and deal signals), Slack, Notion, and our data warehouse.

COMPENSATION RANGE

- Compensation Range: $115K - $145K
