JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Rheumatologist to join our growing specialty team in the Bronx. The Rheumatologist will provide outpatient consultative and longitudinal care for patients with complex rheumatologic conditions while working in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for patients with autoimmune and musculoskeletal diseases.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests including labs and imaging studies.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with primary care providers and specialists to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of clinical excellence.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record.
QUALIFICATIONS
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Rheumatology fellowship.
- Board Certified/Eligible in Rheumatology.
- Active New York State medical license (or eligibility to obtain).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; commitment to patient-centered care.
