How do I get a sales operations lead job in Washington?
Target government contractors, federal IT services firms, trade associations, and technology companies headquartered in Washington's Downtown, NoMa, and Capitol Riverfront districts. Candidates with CRM administration experience, Salesforce certification, and familiarity with government procurement cycles stand out locally. Building relationships through DC-area revenue operations meetups and connecting directly with hiring managers at mid-market contractors gives you a concrete edge over applicants applying purely online.
Which companies hire sales operations leads in Washington?
Employers hiring sales operations leads in Washington right now include Booz Allen Hamilton, Humana, and BAE Systems USA, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Washington's mix of defense contractors, SaaS companies serving the public sector, and major trade associations makes it a consistently active market for this role.
Are there remote sales operations lead jobs in Washington?

About 67% of sales operations lead openings tied to Washington are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting how many local employers have adopted flexible policies post-pandemic. CRM management, reporting, and forecasting work in particular tends to be fully remote across Washington-area employers.
How can I get a sales operations lead job in Washington with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Washington is starting as a sales operations analyst or CRM administrator at a mid-size government contractor or association headquartered in the Downtown or Rosslyn-Ballston corridor. These employers frequently promote internally and value proficiency in Salesforce, HubSpot, or data visualization tools over years of experience. Volunteering for revenue operations projects within your current role, even outside sales, builds a portfolio that Washington hiring managers respond to.
