The Director of Regional Marketing leads strategic marketing, communications, and supports the business development initiatives across the Northeast and Caribbean regions. This role partners closely with regional and market sector leadership to oversee regional brand visibility—ensuring alignment with business development goals while tailoring marketing strategies to regional and market sector opportunities.
Responsibilities / Essential Functions- Develop and execute the regional and market sector marketing strategy aligning with overall company brand and business objectives.
- Partner with regional and corporate leadership to identify market trends, client priorities, and competitive positioning opportunities.
- Drive strategic pursuits—collaborating on capture plans, client outreach, and positioning for major projects.
- Serve as a thought partner to the Regional Directors and Business Development team, ensuring marketing supports business growth goals.
- Manage regional storytelling, case studies, and thought leadership content highlighting people, projects, and community impact.
- Support media relations and award submissions in partnership with corporate communications.
- Oversee regional event participation, sponsorship strategy, and community engagement efforts.
- Ensure consistent messaging across internal and external channels.
- Support the Pursuits Marketing Director in oversight when needed in the region specific development of proposals, qualifications packages, interview presentations, and related pursuit materials.
- Ensure consistent quality, brand standards, and storytelling across all deliverables.
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing regional marketing team.
- Foster collaboration to ensure workflow efficiencies between marketing, creative, communications and business development.
- Manage marketing budgets, resources, and workload allocation to meet deadlines and priorities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field; Master’s preferred.
- 10–12+ years of marketing or business development experience within the architecture, engineering, or construction (AEC) industry.
- Proven success leading marketing teams and managing complex pursuits.
- Strong communication, writing, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign required), Microsoft Office, and CRM systems
- Strategic thinker with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Relationship-driven with a strong understanding of client needs and regional market dynamics.
- Creative storyteller who can translate technical information into compelling messages.
